Second semester has been pretty uneventful, once I go into my major (illustration/communication design) that’s when the real ass kicking will begin. That will look like eight classes with six intensive studios; Typographic Design, Illustration I, Methods and Media, Design Procedures, Communication Imaging Design, and Visual Communication. Even though I know there will be many sleepless nights and grueling moments I can’t wait!
This semester I really just took the time to take electives and focus on liberal arts, I’m hoping that the summer will be a great time to focus on a long overdue mural for my church, and work on personal projects of exploration. I really want to pick up embroidery and see if Art Center might have any classes to offer in silkscreen or graphic design, not sure I enjoy commuting though ahah.
